COURAGE: My grandfather x 8 was named William Vestal. He was 16 years old when he left his home to venture for a new life. In 1683, William and his brother, Daniel, left London for the “new world” - Daniel died at sea and was buried there. William made it to Pennsylvania. He married Alice Grover Brunsden in 1692 at the Brandywine Baptist Church in Chester county. William and Alice met on the ship on their long voyage in 1683
