I am a 5th generation Texan! You ever wonder why Texans are proud of our heritage? It is the Spirit of Texas and our unique history that make us stand out from any other of the 49 states in our country. have eaten smoked, delicious Texas barbecue since I was a boy growing up in west Texas. I love it and have had a passion for the special flavors and textures of great Texas BBQ! Barbeque is so integrated within the culture of Texas. While in college at Baylor in Waco, TX, I recall driving and smelling those BBQ places two or three blocks away. As my family lived in Houston those student days, I had to visit all the barbecue restaurants I could find. This proud Texan wishes to offer Hoosiers the pride and joy of good Texan barbeque. I am excited to see many smiles people’s faces! I forsee this being a part time effort as we seek to cater to weddings, private events, and family gatherings! Wait until you see the smoker that is being built in Houston for me.”
