I met Ralph Winter a few times, both in group settings and one on one.. He was such an intriguing man, one who was a “walking enclyclopedia” of sorts…brilliant and articulate. His recent death has really touched me deeply and I do not know why. It has made me really evaluate many layers of my life, present and future.
He was a true model of many things: Leadership, vision, (saw what others did not or could not)…. He clearly loved His God and the world He created of all kinds of people scattered across our globe created in HIS image.
My favorite thing he said, “Risks are not to be evaluated in terms of the probability of success, but in terms of the value of the goal.”
