Our son wanted to pray at dinner last night. He had not prayed in a while but wanted to, we obliged and did not know if he would thank God for all the items he could view across the room or say,”I don’t want to pray” as he has in the past. As he began to pray, he asked if we would pray after him outloud — Here was his prayer -
Thank you God for the birds that sing.
Thank you for a world so sweet
Thank you for flowers that grow.
Thank you for Making me
Thank God for Everything!
Needless to say, Elise looked at each other during and after the prayer in amazement of Zayd and grateful to God for this beautiful prayer.
